Serge Van KHACHE Serge Van KHACHE est né en 1946 à Angoulême d'une mère française et d'un père asiatique. Il y étudie le dessin et la peinture à l'Ecole des Beaux Arts, et parallèlement apprend la photo avec son père. Il s'installe tout d'abord à Paris comme photographe et retoucheur où il travaille pour de grands magazines et le cinéma. Il retourne en Charente en 1977, et décide en 1984 de se consacrer exclusivement à la peinture. Il inscrit son oeuvre dans le mouvement des peintres visionnaires, et sa technique du glacis s'apparente à celle des grands Maîtres Flamands. Pour lui, l'inspiration doit chercher, à travers une description, les chemins et les sources de nos émotions inconscientes
Serge Van KHACHE Serge VAN KHACHE was born in 1946 at Angoulême, the child of a French mother and Asian father. He studied drawing and painting there at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts and in parallel learnt photography with his father. He set up business in Paris as a photographer and retoucher where he worked for the big magazines and the film industry. He returned to Charente in 1977 and decided to painting. His work is part of the movement of visionary painters and his glazing technique is similar to that used by great Flemish masters. For him, inspiration should, via a description, seek the paths to and sources of our subconscious emotions.
